Skyway piers are still holding Mackeral early morning and late evening.\u00a0 Blue crabs are moving on the outgoing tide.<\/p>\n
Anna\u00a0Maria pier is holding Macks as well.\u00a0 Mangrove Snapper\u00a0 have started to move in, use greenies or shrimp on a small to medium hook and toss under the pier, there are many keepers to be had\u00a0with a few 1 to 3 pounders mixed in, take extra hooks and leader.. you wil get broke off occasionally.<\/p>\n
Boca Grande pass has been full of Tarpon, a possible record was just caught last week in the PTTS tournament.\u00a0 Unofficially it was reprted at 210lbs caught by Jim Philleps.<\/p>\n
I also spoke to a few of the commercial fishermen today.\u00a0 The oil is still about 100 miles of f the west coast.\u00a0 they have had great yields on their catches, but are having a hard time selling because of fear of tainted fish.\u00a0 There was a meeting held for all local captains and anglers to look into a class action lawsuit against BP for lost revenue.\u00a0 The outcome of that meeting will be made available in a few days.\u00a0 Thanks for your time…<\/p>\n
