Baits for best results have been Sand fleas and FRESH dead shrimp. Clams also used with frozen \/ thawed having better results than Shelled for the Pompano bites.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/boatlessfishing.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/009.jpg\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-881\" src=\"http:\/\/boatlessfishing.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/009-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"80\" height=\"85\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Gate Station<\/strong> &#8211; Surf Fishing<br \/>\nWater temps running 78 to 80 degrees<\/p>\n<p>Large Whiting running in the 1.5 to 2 1\/4 lb range.<br \/>\n\u00a0Black Drum and Reds coming in sporadically on FRESH dead shrimp and sand fleas. Few pompano brought in with clams but more small then keepers. Best results on early outgoing tide<\/p>\n<p><strong>Micklers Landing<\/strong> &#8211; Surf Fishing<br \/>\nWater temps running 78 to 80 degrees<br \/>\nLarge Whiting running in the 1.5 to 2 1\/4 lb range.<br \/>\n\u00a0Black Drum and Reds on FRESH dead shrimp and sand fleas.\u00a0 Pompano coming in with clams .<br \/>\nsmall bonnet heads also biting the hooks.<br \/>\nBest results on early outgoing tide and early incoming tides<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/boatlessfishing.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/029.jpg\" Target=\"blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-884\" src=\"http:\/\/boatlessfishing.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/029-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"70\" height=\"94\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Jacksonville Beach Pier<\/strong> &#8211; Pier Fishing<br \/>\nWater temps running 78 to 80 degrees<\/p>\n<p>Jax Pier began smoking on late tuesday when clean water moved in and the bite was on.<br \/>\nAnglers limiting out on Slot Reds, Black Drum , Speckled Trout in the 2lb to 3.5lb range, Flounder, Pompano in the 3lb range along with whiting in the 1.5 to 2.5lb range and the Kingfishing off the T exploded with over 10 Kings averaging 26 lbs brought Over The Rail since Wednesday.<br \/>\nBaits bringing in the fish are Live Shrimp ,Fresh dead shrimp,Sand fleas and Dead crab.<br \/>\nKing Macks are hitting Blues, Greenies and Lookdowns.\u00a0 Fishing will stay hot as long as the water stays clean.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nassau Sound<\/strong> &#8211; Surf Fishing<br \/>\nWater temps running 77 to 79 degrees<br \/>\nWhiting running in the 1 lb range and a couple Black Drum and Reds coming in on FRESH dead shrimp and sand fleas. Pompano bite has been slow.
