I took off on Thursday afternoon after gathering an assortment of baits. The drive down was smooth and I even had time to catch a glimpse of some Key deer on Big Pine. Arrival at the boat was timely...

Family took a trip out with Captain Scott this weekend. Went down to Mosquito Lagoon after Trout and Reds.

Ended up getting lots of shorties, 3 keeper reds and a few trout to fillet up as well.

8am trip.
Mr King still has not shown his ugly teeth!
It was trigger fish day. a triggerfish won the pool (not mine). I ended up with 11 triggerfish, 3 porgies , 2 decent size grunts and 2 lane...

Took the family down to the keys for the weekend. Didn't get to fish friday as we where traveling then getting settled in at night. Woke up sat. and drove around to see who's going out when and where....

When I go out on Sea Legs or the Lady K, I normally tip the mate $6-$10 as I get off the boat as well as letting him keep some of my catch which they sell for $2/pound. But how much should I tip them...
