I was in Marco island for 7 days I was able to fish 5 of those days I fished tiger tail beach where I caught 2 snook and I fished the jetty down by camabaxs pass and caught 8 snook! And one sea trout!

What is the best bait to use when fishing either the Jolly Bridge or Goodland Bridge in Marco Island? Or just bridges in southwest florida in general. What fish would these baits catch? Species you...

Snook and Tarpon are everywhere down there. Was able to catch my 1st tarpon. I was 0-21 on Tarpon in one day. Went out last week and got it done. The Silver King and I are 1-21

Gonna be down there in July and I'm not gonna leave until I catch a solid sized shark. Any strategies/tips? Best Bait? Rigs? Time of day to go after them? Etc? :reeling:

you should soak baits all day and all night if you can some beachs you can not fish untill night time when no one is swimming. freash stinky bait is what you want but shark fishing like most fishing...

Any thoughts on whether the beach restoration will help or hinder fishing off the beach? A few years ago some sand was added which created a small dark blue patch that help schools of black drum, and...

Thanks, I read that same article so I walked down to Doctors pass. Fishing was good for me since I don't know anything about salt water fishing. I caught lots of cat fish, 1 jack and hooked 1 big fish...

Are there any decent shore fishing areas in and around everglades city and chokoloskee? Looking for public areas. Will be meeting up my parents who live in the naples area down there as they are going...

Rent a kayak over there... you don't need to paddle very far to find Reds & Trout,
can't help with wading not sure there is much in that area for wading, and be careful of the razor sharp oysters....

My long awaited vacation has come to an end, spend three weeks
in the USA roaming the beaches of Collier and Lee county down in
Florida.
Weather was not always picture perfect and I had some iffy...
