Took the kayak out to Crandon Marina at Key Biscayne. Fished around half moon... caught a barracuda and around 8 Jack's but they were all under 12 inches.

Fished my usual spot (Pompano) hoping for a wahoo or a blackfin tuna. No hoos but I did manage 2 decent BFTs, the runner up on my goal for the day. All three tuna I caught were on jigs in 275'. I know...

Yesterday I got a 15# BFT and my first hammerhead off Pompano Beach in 180'. The BFT ate a Stretch 25 plug on the troll out, and after I bled and gutted him it must have attracted the sharks cause...

I have a truck can fit 2 Yaks. Split gas 50/50, I want to hit the road as early as possible 4am or even earlier. I plan on fishing all day or until they stop biting.
