Got there around noon on Saturday. Tried both piers. Pretty slow - caught 2 silver trout. Had trouble even catching bait fish.

Sunday was awful. Bunch of boats around South Pier throwing casting nets...

I fished the end of the NW jetty at John's Pass yesterday afternoon/evening. Things were rather slow until the Sheepies turned on. I ended up with a 15 , 17 and 18 , all caught on whole dead shrimp...

Pic of a snook I caught a few days ago. Will not count for the competition, I caught him from a boat :(. Its OK Anyways the grouper bite is still on at the skyway, some jacks and macks still hanging...

This fish was three inches shorter at 38 than the last snook I posted, but was fatter. Caught the same way with cut ladyfish on bottom.

Hit a flat in Sarasota tonight, got in about 4pm, and left at 7 sharp... Walked in confident despite the bad tides... Slow incoming with pretty much no fluctuation between the low and high.... But...
