So i caught around 40 gogs friday and i am not sure if im going out on sunday or monday for bottom fishing (grouper and mutton). I don't know whether i should keep them on ice till monday or freeze...

Salting the ice helps it keep longer as well. The bait overall stays fresher because the iced melts slower. As long as it’s a good cooler that is.

I catch a lot of pinfish in a castnet, but I would like to catch more mojara: I sometimes catch a mojarra (sand perch?) or two while cast netting. Is there a better way to target them?

I was wondering if sand fleas burrow deeper in the sand to stay cooler in the summer months?

They dig deep during cold fronts but I have always done well during the summer at first light or until people start walking on the sand. The water is generally cool enough that the heat doesn't bother...

I have no problem using grunts but pins are hardy bait vs grunts. If grunts work for you then the ricky is the place for you. Just have to weed through all the big ones
