Jacks and cudas were normally my catches when I used to fish that area some.
Dreaming the dream that one day I can be as good as some of the boatless pros and catch some 12 inch mangrove snapper.

Jacks, I'd take my long rod and flip diamond jigs.

There is a little bay on the NW side that may hold some tiny snapper.

If youy have access to a boat, you could hit the Ryobi Spencer artificial reef on the inside about a mile south on the east side. You'll know you are there because you'll see others there too.

lol ya the weekends can be pretty hectic over there, but it might not be so busy seeing it's going to be a high of 67.

yep that is true. the only thing that is going to be out in this temperature is the flocks of birds from the north. to them, a high of 67 degrees feels more like 80 without humidity.

Would you be referring to the glowing white folks in the way too small swim suits? :biglaugh:

Fished it last night. Top water, Trolling, Shrimp, Jigs, Soft Plastic, Bait on the bottom. - no action - It was blowing 20mph from the S.E. We were the only people out.
