Definetly have to agree, or a nice chunk of fresh mack never seems to get turned down.

i can make it anyday. i will give a ride to someone, ill have one seat in my jeep. fishing was pretty good today. my girlfriend caught all the bait i needed in about 15 mins, first bait out i hook into a monster tarpoon, thankfully it spit the hook on a jump cause i would havenever landed it. few cast later i have 2 big blue runners which go out on my big rods, sit one down to cast the other and the dra goes crazy, cast the other runner out set the pole down and set the hook to nothing. but my runner was destroyed. but that was it on thebig rods. caught a few good sized macks and runners.ill post some pics after dinner

I now have a meeting after work. Just depends on how long it takes. I may just show up to hang out.

2nd hand report from yesterday(7/1) evening. Apparently everyone was shark fishing. Sharks and Cudas were in abundance. 8 foot T-Head reported. Also reports of someone hooking up and cutting everyones lines in his way.

I've heard of a few pricks at Juno. Any truth to an older guy who fishes a corner of the T? You get to close to him and he complains to management?

What about Fri Morning when the pier opens? There were quite a few people interested in fishing this week. Could be a good BF.com Get Together.

yea there is a lot of sharks. as far as a-holes, you'll get your share anywhere. i fish the pier 3-4 days a week for the past month and really havent had a problem, im also 6'1" 230lbs and have been told that i always look pissed :scold: , so that might keep the a-holes away from me a little. i dont fish the T either, but i have noticed that the T is where all the "im the best fisherman in the world" fish, with exceptions, junochris fish's the T and he's a cool guy, along with others. all i know is that if someone cut my line just cause he had a fish there would be some big problems, id probaly grab the rod out of his hand cut his line and throw the rod in the water.

about meeting up, i will more than likely be there all day thursday and friday from opening till about 1-1:30. hope to see you guys there.

Thanks for the info. I'll see what I can do about making it Friday morning. Shouldn't be a problem. I've been wanting to get out to Juno anyways. Whats the rod limit?

3 rods, free parking, $4 to get on. most of the time the gate person doesnt check your rods but if the boss is there he will only let you take 3.

Got to the pier at daybreak and the water was too clear. Bait was very hard to get and so were the Snook. Did manage to get a few here and there, but still a very slow day. Other than that, "Bonies", Sharks, and Stingray's were also caught. 7-2-08

Dont worry Janet. Theyre coming. My favorite is the picture of me and the 10# setup I caught him on!!! WOO HOOO ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ GET OUTTA MY WAY!!! FISH ON!!!! :reeling: :reeling:

Day was real nice. Busted off by 5 snook. Saw a 42in fish get landed. Bonies galore on livies and artificials. X-rap 12 was the plug of choice. Plenty of big sardines around, as well as nice cigar minnows and a few dork jacks mixed in. A lone mack came up. There were plenty of gummers. A few sharks revealed themselves but never got hooked while we were there. I saw so many people lose the battle to bonita to the corner of the pier it wasnt even funny. They just couldnt figure out how to get around. Always trying to fight the fish standing still. Overall, the action made for a great day. Who wants to go back?!?

Ricky,
Thanks for the great net work. We got shark bait for quite a few of those tourney guys! Now I just want to see huge sharks in return.
