Go get yourself a 13-18 inch mullet and free line it. Wait. Then hang on tight!

Walked Palmetto to the inlet this morning...
Just prior to sunrise there were lots of ladyfish hitting 8" mullet right up against the sand.
Unfortunately, nothing hitting at the inlet at sunrise.
On the walk back to Palmetto, quite a few 8" mullet scattered all along the beach, but nothing really hitting them.
Did see a few tarpon roll about 100yds off the beach, all headed South.

Fished Red Reef Park 7-10am...
At sunrise, lots of fingers along the beach with small jacks blowing them up.
After 7;45am pretty dead.... calm, gentle breeze, sunny, clear water, and some small pods of fingers frolicking.
No significant predators. :-(

Hmmm, not sure.... you talking about Saturday morning on the beach south of Palmetto... you had your little cart?

Or late this morning you and another guy who spoke briefly with me at Red Reef and I gave you a small jack for shark bait?

Two weeks back we had lots of pilchard running up onto the beach side of the jetty. Mixed in were some mullet.

Haven't seen much mullet other than a few small pods of 5-10 very sparsely.

Today, tried a spot two miles in from the inlet and found barracuda, snapper, large file fish, and the occasional sheepshead.

Sorry to read the related issues with that continue. Work brought me to Miami a little over a year ago. A fishery with its own set of pros and cons. Hope things clear up soon Boca friends.

13-16" I'd say. There was a small pods of fingers 5-8" south of the main pods. They were getting beat up by a few snook and jacks, but I didn't wanna waste time with them

THANK YOU so much! Overall it's about a 1-year recovery. Mostly I'm hoping my leg pain subsides - so far no end in sight...

Thanks for thinking of me, and I look forward to hearing about some catches! :-)
