I think its great that your daughters are into this sport. You seem like youre on top of the world when theyre out there with you. My 13 y/o is not into the fishing bit but have already begun working on my 6 y/o and 8 month old daughters! Good luck to you all!

hit the beach late today started out pretty good.. got this nice grouper and had some hits so i thought it was going to be a good day..but its all fun and games untill you blow up a 14/0!!! had a fish that was dam close to be the biggest in the tourny so far... emptied the reel all the way down to the knot with the drag FULLY LOCKED!!!the hardest fighting fish i ever held on to.. good thing maddawg was there to help.. but after a good long fight he pulled the hook with out showing his self

Damn pete thats nuts about that 14/0 blowing up. My friend did the same thing to a 14/0 while tuna fishing up in new jersey. That really sucks that you lost it bro. Nice grouper though!
