That is why you practice tying knots. For the type of fishing you are talking about, like Zebco said tie them as you need them. Doesn't take more then a few seconds to tie on a new leader on. Maybe for beginners that like box is good for them.

i agree with Zeb the only rigs i do in advance are for kings wire .if your leaders get tangle you waste more time.

PC, I agree with you. Kingfish rigs I do tie ahead. Also deep drop chicken rigs.

Not a bad idea but I prefer to tie as I go or as type of fish or conditions demand. JMHO.

I pretie chicken rigs one per rod and put in ziplock baggies. I like to pretie so I can fish right away, but have no problem tieing when I get to the spot.
