Custom Spheros rod

Post by Snooker0215 »

Im looking for a nice $100-175 custom rod I can use paired up with my spheros 4k. I am going to be using this reel for the schooly's. Like macks and jacks and bonita etc. I want a rod with a strong backbone for casting heavy gotchas all day and spoons and stuff like that. I also want it to be as sensitive as possible. 7-8 foot would be perfect.

How much do X-generations usually cost?

I have my Shperos 500 paired with a Shimano Treval rod. I bought off craigslist for $85 and the thing was mint. It handles everything fine. I use it on the pier and from the surf.

Hard to say. Each rod is a custom built to spec.
