Gill hooked a ladyfish yesterday so I brought it home and though I would see if all I hear about them being not edible was true or not.

Re: RECIPES FOR YOUR CATCH
Or you can make fish patty out of it...
Fillet it and leave the skin on. Take a metal spoon and scrape off the meat. The tiny bones will stick to the skin. Put the metal in a bowl then add salt, pepper, green orinion for taste. Make a thin patty out of it and then fried it up. If you like it crewy, mix it a little more. The more you mix it, the chewier it'll get.

Jabie
Very impressive...
I think with the way you smoke and pressure cook, any fish is edible...
I want to try pressure cooking

Good tip tears. Got to try that next time.
Kblue, I agree. Smoking makes just about anything taste great and canning handles any bone issues. I bet you could eat even seahorses or moray eels! But you'd have to be pretty starving and marooned on an island or something.
