I don't know of any dams down this way. The spillways(when they are flowing) would be more up your alley. It's just a matter of getting to them when the gates are open.

This is a picture of the dam I fish at in ft. lauderdale and a snook i caught there its lil but i had to get a pic

i've caught snook, jack, mangroves, and there's tons of mullet. if you're ever in ft. lauderdale it's off 62nd street and dixie hwy

IM CHUMMING , indeed derailing it.. but its ok.. i just figured if anyone would no where to find spots like that it would be you guys.. so far nothing though =( its kinda disappointing inside..

Welcome, not sure of any dams in So Fla either, but I used to fish this one in Virginia growing up, it was on the Potomac river about 1/4 mile upstream of Great Falls, which are a huge, deadly set of waterfalls. Great fishing, I caught many big smallmouth bass and walleye from this exact spot in the picture and the rocks below, but if you fell into the swift current you were pretty much screwed.
