My 140 gal

Post by 4wheelangler »

I decided to start a new thread rather than D-Rail the cleanup one:

I woke up Sat morning(6/6/9) to find my reef tank leaked into my living room and kitchen overnight. I spent the rest of the day rescuing the fish & corals, cleaning up and repairing the tank. Luckily I only lost one fish but lost about 88% of my corals.

Monday night I refilled and reset the live rock, fish and remainiong corals. So far everything is looking good.

That sucks dude, did a seam split on the display? Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Thanks, I'll keep it in mind! Do you have any frags for sale or even free?

That's a nice size tank. I bet that was a lot of water to clean up.

It only leaked about 35-40 gals but it was enough to make quite a mess. My shop vac was working overtime!

Thanks for the frags! It looks like they all might make it, at least they are starting to open. It was cool meeting you. We definitely have to get together and soak some baitt soon.

No problem, nice meeting you as well. Your tank looks nice. You've got me thinking about rearranging some of my rocks now. If they don't make it let me know and i'll bring you a mounted frag next time.

Oh and the one orange piece I couldn't remember the name is a digitata. I have kept that in my 20gal tank with PCs. They are a easy sps to grow.

I picked up a nice digitata at EcoReef over the weekend, I am thinking about going back to get a birdsnest that I will just frag out and try to grow several colonies of.
