A bit of history for you guys. Rory's father is Cuban so he is half blood link.
His grandfather and father had a ranch and rice plantation in Western Cuba before communism moved in and they had to leave.The ranch was on the west side of the Island they planted around 7000 acres in rice every year. The reason his hunting skills are good is because of dad and the ducks.... where there is rice there is ducks. He told me stories that his dad told him that the ducks were so thick they literally darkened the sky at first light. They had planned to build a lodge because his friends from the (USA) encouraged him to do after they hunted with him. But those plans never came to be after the Castro brothers came to power. Whats Fing up is today the Cuban government plants rice on my his dad's property(well not anymore) and they run commercial hunts to tourist from all over the world there now. The first time Rory spoke to me in spanish i freaked out. Kind of unreal and eerie
