Snook were stacked under the pier this morning at sunrise. I broke one off and another guy caught a 34"er. It was shoulder to shoulder by about 7:30am. Snook were roaming when I left but wouldn't bite. Too many people slamming baits all around them.

Macs were running yesterday evening. Mostly hitting jigs, not really hitting any live bait. I put on a gotcha and got cut off. Switched to a small xrap and started getting consistent hits. Caught a yellow jack on the xrap, ate him for dinner last night.

Typical runners coming through. One kid accidentally caught a slot snook on a trolly rig.

Fished yesterday 1000-1300h. A decent top water action from small macs and runners. Saw 1 bonito caught on a bottom rig and overheard a guy caught a snook early morning. Pilchards and sardines mostly stayed on the north side of the pier, didnt see any mulet.

Went to Dania pier on Friday from 6-245. Fished the T kept 38 blue runner and 18 mackerel. Saw Simone catch a Bonita , and 35 inch snook and someone lost a really big mack.. Around 1:50 I tossed a big cigar minnow off the north side of the T within 15 seconds I hooked this tarpon fought him for 15 minutes. 15ld flouro attached with a swivel to 30lb flouro leader estimated at 40-45 pounds.

You can't take a tarpon over 40" out of the water...
