Just saw some photos from Coral Cove Park at sunrise this morning... tons of mullet were blowing up big time... tarpon and sharks jumping!

Boca Raton Beach 10:30am had a 150yd school of mullet right up on the beach, heading slowly South... most about 8".

Also, just after high tide, quite a few mullet at the Spanish River Bridge in the ICW... most about 8-10".

I fished that pod at coral cove this morning. Tarpon were steady blowing up on the mullet. I followed them all the way to the inlet but couldn't even get a single bite. :( They turned into the inlet and surprisingly enough there wasn't that much snook blowing up on them.

Yesterday- off the wall in the afternoon in pbeach. Every cast you had something.

Today- Similar day to linh. Minnows and small mullet on shore breaks. Few predators, got some shark though.

Hit the beach out of Boca yesterday evening. Saw the largest amount of finger mullet I have ever seen in my life. The pod was literally over a mile long and 50 yards deep with thousands upon thousands showering up onto the beach in fear of their lives. They were being destroyed by bluefish ranging from about 2 to 6 lb with a few lady fish mixed in. Had fish on every cast and lost a nice spinner too. Took as much advantage as I could till I did not even want to catch anymore. Just watched in amazement. The bulk moved south about an hour after dark. Good luck guys.

I was at Bill Baggs today and saw a large school of finger mullets go by and shortly after a small school of large mullets. Also, saw a school of needle fishes.

I know what you guys are thinking that it might of been a school of ballyhoos but it wasn't. They were right there in front of me all lined up by the rocks against the sea wall. I was able to get a really good look at them since they were so close.

Went out to the beach in Hollywood last night and bait balls busting everywhere at the peak of high tide. Just out of casting range, caught nothing but wow was that cool to see it live. The action only lasted for 1/2 hour so we packed up and hit the pier at Dania and nothing was being caught and only 3 groups out there fishing so we called it a night.

Can you legally fish from the beach in Hollywood when the life guards are gone?

It's been dead the past few days when I've gone places on the beach. But today there was a really nice pod of biggg mullet i found on a desolate stretch in palm beach. I guess towards Juno . It had only big fish on them. It was fun.

So perhaps it's not alllll the way done. I covered some ground and I'm lucky

A few Macks end of last week, The Blues were on Top water and spoons it really didn't matter, you tossed out and you had 20 on it fighting for a bite so it was A blue every cast largest was about 8lbs.

The mullet that were passing were on the larger size AND black Mullet they streamed by for a couple of hours.
