2-15-11 MUCHO K
Met Ricky at the Sea Legs dock. Only 6 people showed so the trip was canceled. We headed down to the Mucho K and got on the 8pm trip. Not too many people but just enough to keep us from the stern. First anchor spot was a big goose egg. Nothing. We moved to another spot that we stayed at for the rest of the night. There were alot of short tails caught , little grunts and such. After about 30-40 min we start hooking up into some decent size yellow tails. Then I hit 3 toros in a row.
Me and Ric probably caught half the yellow tails on the boat. The captain got a nice spanish as well as another fisherman. If we didn't have Mr braid and not enough weight on our right and Mr cast over our lines then reel them in and tanlgle our lines in a birds nest to our left we would have caught more fish. But that is party boat fishing. Great time being out on the water. I would definatly go with Captain Dennis again. He and the mate were great.

I got pulled over on 826 after we left. The officer said I was gong 60 in a 35. Allegedly. Really 35 are the kidding me. The next sign was 20 yards ahead that said 45. Those are some expensive yellow tail. I should have saved the toros so I can eat for the next month.

You should of seen the stern crew look at us as we were flipping fatties over while most of them were slaying the babies. priceless.Green Tide wrote:the one tail looks really nice and i know they all look fat

How can I get some info about this MUCHO K boat. I fish Sea Legs quite often but would not mind trying another boat.

I do well in the summer with Capt Chris on the Hurricane, never fails! Always get a stern spot too!
There is a fine line between Love & Hate.Hate is pushing them off a ledge. Loving them means you don't taunt them after you've pushed them off.
