Hi, I have a few questions concerning fishing naples in mid-february. I'm coming down from Charleston from the 13-20 and would love to fish a little. Since I fish Charleston, Sc a lot I'm not new to fishing but I am unfamiliar with the Naples area. Where should I fish? I have heard I should try wiggins and clam pass along with the pier, any better spots? Also what can I expect this time of year in terms of fish? Any tips to fishing the pier? Lastly, in Charleston I love to do a little shark fishing from the beach, so I'm going to bring my penn 9/0 on a big 8 foot rod and cast or yak some bait out. Can I expect to catch any sharks from the surf?
Thanks, and sorry for all the questions but I'm sure you guys will help me out a lot.

Re: Fishing Naples area in February
Welcome. I'm not sure why there's no response. I fish Naples-but never in February (I'm on the east coast). Try a search for Naples and check the February posts from previous years. Good luck.
