Kayak Sailfish Round 2

Post by Poseidon10/31 »

Haven't posted in a while, been struggling lately hunting the silver kings. You know how tarpon fishing goes, they're on one minute and off the next... Got another sail in the yak off Pompano today. Last time I complained I didn't get the fish in the yak for a pic and you all called me crazy for trying. This time I did just that. Unfortunately the pics were kinda crappy cause the sun was behind me and I was too worried about releasing the fish healthy. Anyways, tight lines and as always googan out!

Thanks, Avet 5.8 MXL, 7' Shimano Teramar MH, 30lb braid, 5' 60lb flouro, 5/0 cirlce, live goggle eye. Figured I'd go more in depth in case anyone else was wondering what gear I use.

:uplol: Thanks Bi0tic. Your post made me think of Wayne's World. "we're not worthy, we're not worthy". LOL That's how I felt seeing videos of other guys catching sails on their yaks. I guess I'm part of the club now. :happyfisherman:

Awesome!!
There is a fine line between Love & Hate.Hate is pushing them off a ledge. Loving them means you don't taunt them after you've pushed them off.
