I didn't know if I should resurrect an old thread but it was sticked so...

Went out night of 2/03/11, fished NW side and near boardwalk starting around 10:30pm until around 2:00am. Nothing really happened... 2 cats and a ray.

i havent seen them under the bridge , but there everywhere else pretty heavy. clearwater pier, skyway, de soto, and downtown st. pete pier during the morning are producing. most caught are rails, but there out there heavy. the funny part is the white bait has'nt arrived yet.

Was on JP May 23rd. Didn't get much action at all. Was fishing with pins an hour before and after afternoon high tide. Asked a couple of ppl fishing there, and they reported the same thing. One guy did mention his partner had something big but couldn't turn it, possibly a tarpon or shark he said.

Grats on the little won winning the trophy. 8)

Also, last time I was there on the north side of the bridge near the boardwalk it was absolutely dead. Only fish I heard of was supposely a tarpon. Never saw the guy fighting it, nor did I see a jump of any kind.
