Thanks.
Yes it was.
It was a bit sketchy to say the least! lol

But I made it both ways!
It was a slow ride over with the terrible conditions, and the slowest boat in the "pack" was only hitting 18mph full speed in those conditions.
But on our way back, our group was just three of us with slightly better conditions.
We ran back at about 26mph the whole way.
I just road the wake of Tate's Hells Bay all the way back till we got by the dumps.
Then I broke away and went to fish. lol

This weekend I will not be fishing.
I need to repair the side of Alonzo's(gettingitdone) girlfriends Civic.
Got to have it done for them by Monday because they're moving to Tampa.

But I plan on fishing on Friday if the conditions are as predicted.
Although I know it's a week from now, but WindGuru has Friday as the best conditions for a while.

hah, it was black Friday.
And I was supposed to have it off.
Of course until my boss decided to open the shop on Friday.
Make me and my coworker go to work and he didn't even show up.

But anyway, conditions Friday were terrible.
I made it out to 'mingo on Saturday.
Didn't do too good at all, but did see a bunch of reds.
Thought it was going to be a great day, caught one red on my first cast, and hooked up on the second fish I casted at but it came loose.
My buddy also hooked into a 24"+ trout that came loose boat side.

And that was within 15 minutes that we got to the first spot in the morning.
That was all for the day. lol

Congrats Pete. It's going to be a very nice build.

That Sea-Bird is gonna be one boss of a boat when it's done. Looks like a tank.

Nice Ride

When telling the story it is best to have some good 5 year rum, some cigars and Ricky. When I see you I will tell you. It ended well. It could have been very bad! :rambo:
