Name's Alex. 25yo. I'm an auto tech. Graduated from Wyotech in Pennsylvania(yes the one in the commercials on SpeedTV) with a degree in auto repair, chassis fabrication/engine building and auto business management. Industry is slow so I'm working security for some pocket change. Love my car.. 97 Cobra. Always working on either my car or a friends. And now the fishing bug has hit me and there's nothing i can do to help it. lol

Re: What does everybody do?
Im 27, married and I run (along with 2 other managers) a Gardners Markets store. It is located in Ocean Reef Club, Key Largo. Not the best job, but it pays the bills. I try to fish as much as I can but as of late it is few and far between trips. In the summer I tend to have a lot more time and I prefer fishing for Pelagics. Not a fan of bottom fishing. Eventually (when i retire) Id love to get a live aboard sail boat with a small skiff in tow and sail to everywhere and nowhere.

Cashier at Publix Supermarkets. Now fishing more than I work it seems.
Never try what you see on TV. Mostly following behind a van, in a shopping cart(ironically a Publix one), while heading towards a speed bump. I plead temporary insanity on that one. Was up for more than 36 hours straight with two energy drinks, to work shifts, and moving from one apt to another.

I am a registration coordinator for the trauma center in orlando. The high point of my career is the free time it provides me to enjoy fishing and being in nature. I'm an Orlando Florida native and wouldn't trade living in the fishing capital of the world for anything.

Re: What does everybody do?
Hi,
I am semi retired wishing I was 100%. Worked 35 years for a large Machine Tool Manufacture in Vermont. Traveled a lot of the world and the USA. Would enjoy hearing from other people in the Machine Tool Business.. It was great till it all moved out of the USA for cheaper labor and manufacturing costs. Live in Florida now, have 16 foot boot, would like to go flat fishing with it, but do not want to go alone. Even fishing in the local lakes would be great. My old fishing buddy has gone for the summer, so I am hoping I can find someone who enjoys fishing and has some knowledge about it. Live in Central Florida. Have a great day and a better tomorrow... Looking to hear from you!

I am a computer systems analyst for a large insurance firm in southern Miami. I live in south broward. Been here since late '68, fishing both salt and fresh water, both from shore, boat and most recently kayak. I roam around the state trying different areas, most recently the Bradenton Beach and Englewood areas. I make my own rods, when the mood strikes me. Most recent were two acid wrapped ones, the smaller to accommodate an Avet MXL single speed 30# mono over JB brad, the larger for an Avet LX Raptor, 50 mono over braid. Both were purpose built to catch Gags off ofthe Tampa Bay South Skyway pier. Both worked very well there, yielding several fish, one of which returned home with me, 22#.

Long time mechanic, until I fell into a pretty great job doing field service for a GPS company. They pay me to travel all over the country, and teach people how to install our products, and I get to live in Florida, it doesn't suck.

New to the site but really like what I see. I'm from Virginia where I am a Custom Lure Builder. I make lots of saltwater stuff as well as some freshwater goodies. Some of the things I put together are bucktail jigs, flounder jigs and rigs, big nylon skirted jigs for Striped Bass, Halibut, Grouper and Cod, lathe turned wooden Striper Plugs and freshwater crankbaits and topwaters for Bass.

Re: What does everybody do?
I may or may not have chimed in here already... So here it goes, Im a 28 year old unemployed (recently laid off) married fish a holic. I am very good at two things, one is computers, both hardware and software and the second is fishing, inshore fishing to be precise! Been working on getting a small business started given that the job market is in shambles and I cannot make it on a 9 / hour job. Have an extensive resume, but so does everyone else out there, there are 4.5 people looking for a job for every open position!
Either way, enough rant! Have known Tommy since about 2006 or maybe 07, dont remember exactly, and been on the site for as long. At that point in life where I really want a trade, something to stick with and retire from!
