Fish must have been caught using Artificals, after November 1, 2006.
Please let us know the tackle you used, and the artificial. Please post pictures with you, fish, and tackle if possible.

caught this one with Pink bannanna Jig, Fought real hard, 15" long to fork, and my first! Anglins Pier.

how do you fish those Gotcha lures? just cast and retrieve?

When used for their intended use (spanish macs, bluefish, bonito, etc), you bring in with a fairly quick retrieve with a lot of rod tip action. However, I've never fished for pompano with those (and never knew they'd even hit one). But in any regards, the Gotcha plug should be diving a lot, held in the proper part of the water column by twitching the rod.

I dont usually fish for Pomps but this is the biggest one to date. 18 inches to the fork. Off Juno a couple weeks ago.
