Monster carp

nice fish...what did you catch him on? How was the fight? I've never caught a Carp.
Nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caught

Wonder bread and stale bread freelined on top of the surface early am.
Carp come up and smack it on top fo the water. Boiled potatoes work good too.

Corn Kernals work good also as does a Tiny Torpedo afte I have cut the grass.

nice fish id say 22-25lbs i have a friend that is trying to break the world record on 2lbs and the record on two is 21 1/2 lbs if i remember right.

We used to kill em on corn up north. nothing this big though. Nice fish Dude!

I've caught some pretty big ones in a canal by my house on bread. Lost some 30+ pounders due to the structure that I fish there. I use straight 6 pound test on them and their sometimes fun, they kinda pull like nurse sharks if not less.

Whats the record for grass carp? Ive caughten a 22 lb. carp on wonder bread.

I forgot what website it was but they said carp in florida get up to 100 lbs...

my big bro caught a 60+ pounder on 2 test like 15 years ago with a fake berry. took him close to 3 hours to get it in.

my wife caught one in our back canal on a hotdog that was in the 20lb range.

Hi all, the bait we use back here in north wales is lunchon meat fished under a lite float no shot on the line and a very sharp sakuma size 4-8 hook use a 12lb braid that is a close to the water colour and tight to the margins and the bites will take your rod out of your hands if you don't hold on tight tight lines .
