Kayak Fishing

Post by Doubles »

Im ready to buy a better kayak than the lifetime lotus I currently own.

I saw a decent splash 2 for sale.

Just curious if anyone on here knows of a tandem kayak for sale in the 300 - 400 price range. Its mostly for
fishing south biscayne bay.

Thank you very much.

Honestly that price seems low for a fishing kayak. If you're strictly bay fishing it might work though. I'd be happy to help but I'm only familiar w/the ocean going kayaks. You could look for one that has spot to drill and install rod holders. I'd buy used on craigslist and save up another few hundred and you could probably get a good one.

Good luck and enjoy it... MPO, take it out paddling first time with no rods, then try it again with 1 rod and a small tackle setup.. test paddle it solso and with another person, you will soon learn what you want & need and where you really like it.. think long and hard before drilling any holes. In Biscayne Bay you really don;t need a lot of gadgets or tackle.

I'm looking at Craiglist for a kayak to use as well.
