I've caught stingray's on crabs, as well as puffers. Lots of blue runners, ladyfish, and mangrove snappa on fleas, which is a type of crab. :toast:

Thanks!

I wont be jigging this trip on Yuri (I'm the black sheep), I don't have the right rods & reels this time. Thanks for the heads up on the different knots for jigging. I will start getting ready for next year...Cant let the guys have all the fun!
It's nice to have the proper gear for jigging but you don't really need it. You will not be jigging all the time. WhoDey use to jig with his 8' Chaos Spin rod with a 8K Saragosa reel with mono. Yes, he use to jig with his snapper gear. I tell you one thing, he hooked up and landed more AJ then I ever had. So go out and jig.

I'm bored and not fishing so I re read this post and pulled this out. This is what was happening to me this spring, but with no fish attached. I have no problems with my knots, in hind site it was my hook size, not snelling. Like I said trying different things. :toast:

I decided to bump this old thread because it's just so damn well done. Thanks Juan
