Boatless Fishing Forum, Reports, Info

hey guys, I moved from Miami to Austin, Texas this past fall. Everything in this town is amazing and the music scene is awesome. I highly recommend anyone to visit. However, Im not fishing at all. Do you guys know of any sweet spots in the Port Aransas, Corpus Christie areas? I did scout out Laguna Madre (south padre) earlier this year on a work trip and people where catching snook, reds, mangos, and trout, but thats like six hours from me! Im looking for something closer…any help would be appreciated thanks
