Crescent Beach 2/5

Hit Crescent beach today from 12 until 4. 1-2' waves, light winds, water and air temp were WARM.
Definitely a slow day, but I managed to land my first Red in the surf - only 19", but what a fighter! http://www.flickr.com/photos/reditguy/6826336373/
My wife landed a medium-sized whiting which we cut up for bait - but no takers. Caught 'em both on bits of shrimp with an orange fish bite. Double-dropper rigs with 3-4 oz pyramids just inside the 2nd bar (about 75 yards).
