Sharks from bridges
Going to the Keys today and was going to try some shark fishing from the bridges at some point. I have shark fished from the surf but never from a bridge. What do you guys think is the best way to release them from a bridge. Walking them down to the surf seems hard since you might be a half mile or more from land on some of these bridges. Thanks in advance for any help

Re: Sharks from bridges
If you are close to the shore I would try to release it there. But sometimes I feel dragging the shark can cause more stress. It won't be easy that's for sure. I wind up as much of the leader material and cut the leader from there. Make sure not to use stainless steel hooks so the hook can corrde and break off. This is one reason I do not shark fish off the bridges anymore. Just feel bad for them swimming around with all that leader material. Good luck.
The Judge asked the prostitute, "At what point did you realize you were raped?"
The prostitute replied (wiping away tears), "When the check bounced."

Thanks for the quick response. I was thinking that just cutting it was the only way but also felt bad leaving the line in thier mouth. I might not try it at all from the bridge. Im leaving in 30 minutes so I will post a report tomorrow when I get back.
