Re: beach fishing
well i notice that the girl stated something about shark leaders and even quoted "this is not ft pierce".
also, the mention of matching shirts as being a team thing and shark ban indicates that someone has got to be a BF member.
i wasn't sure if it was you but i have a feeling that the person lives in fort pierce area.
so if it wasn't you then who could it have been.
anyway it was very funny.
here is the other vid below.

LOL, stupid shark fishermen. The crazy glue part had me rolling.
The Judge asked the prostitute, "At what point did you realize you were raped?"
The prostitute replied (wiping away tears), "When the check bounced."

Yeah it's funny !!!How very nice .Plenty of curse words to be a positive influence on the young ones watching-how thoughtful and constructive .Thanks Pete. This is just another way to bash shark fishing and be completly anonymous(cowardice for sure ) .Way to uphold the sport and take steps in the right direction .I hope you're satisfied with yourself.

and i'm sure banning people for informing them about the new law changes on sharks and FWC Violations is appropriate also.

Re: beach fishing
i love how anything that pete says is directly bashing you! my thoughts..the only person that can make you or your people (as in club members.friends.ex...not race just for the record before i get the race card pulled on me too) look bad or negative is you and those people. unlike anyone else i have no problem stating my opinon or feelings but choose not to for the sake of the administers and readers of the forume that have better things to do than listen to bickering but all these little comments directed toward pete are uncalled for. i have watched you repeatedly bash him on this site as well as your own and not once have seen him say anything disrespectful to you or about you, and believe me this is not due to an cowardness on his part. as for setting any examples..he doesnt pretend to be a mentor nor ever has..you are trying to turn nothing into something..that poop might fly over on the sfsc forume but those who know pete on this forume know hes just jk and have no problem with him or this post or neither would be here..so lets put on our big boy panties and get over it..i say we spend more time on the important things in life like family and fishing!!

I couldn't agree more with that quote...if you think you're not going to like something, don't read or watch it...james380 wrote:Only people that would get offended are those looking to get offended.
Will you always think some one is out to get you. Nobody gives a flying rats @ss what you say because it's all a bunch of bull. You TRY to be this huge mentor and advocate for the sport of shark fishing, and catch and release, but your 2009 Big Hammer tourney put the icing on the cake when you tainted the tourney with lies and pictures of YOU holding a dead hammer's head, YOU and the winner of the biggest shark that was "caught and released" (seeing how the rules were about catch and releasing), YOU at the meat market, and the truck that brought the fish there ALSO had a black tip head in the back of it...if you don't remember all of this I would love to post the pictures to give you a good reminder. Who's the coward now? and if I recall correctly as Maneater stated that a whole lot of sh*t is talked about Petey and other members when they did nothing for you to talk sh*t about. Or maybe they did because they do the opposite of what you do and release all sharks back in the water and make sure they swim off healthy instead of trying to make a dollar....You ran your mouth before the 2009 awards ceremony too, but when we all were down there, you didn't say and damn thing...
Also, you banned a member from your site because he was doing the right thing by informing shark fisherman on your site, during YOUR tourney that FWC had new regulations about rigs and now that Lemons are endangered and shouldn't be taken out of the water, and instead of saying thanks and doing what's best for shark fishing you banned him from your forum...
You love to sir up a lot of sh*t for no reason. Every time is read something negative it's you running your mouth, and in the end, making yourself look like a jack@$$...

Re: beach fishing
This is about THE BIG HAMMER CHALLENGE?No i don't think so I think it's about cowards taking a stab at the sport of land-based shark fishing and those involved in it.
Yes The hammer died after attempts to revive it failed.
Shannon called me and asked me where he could weigh it after the shark died and I suggested my brothers floor scale at NorthWest Seafood.
Check the Dade County appraisers office and see who owns that business--Jorge Fundora does .On one side of the building my brother owns there is Northwest Seafood Market and next to it my brother runs the shrimp packing operation in the warehouse during the entire shrimp season which runs til roughly May.He had a scale avalable and Shannon decided to take the Hammer there to weigh it, that's all .
Shannon said that it would not be good to let it be known that once again a hammer had died during one of these shark tournaments and I agreed .My only fault was not making public to maintain the serenity of the tournament.Good or bad it was my decision and don't regret it although I learned from it.These things happen in this sport.
I TAKE FULL BLAME FOR COVERING THE FACT THAT THE SHARK DIED ,,,,,,,,but other then that my conscious is free and clear and I love my sport and practice it and promote it every chance I get.
The shark was weighed at North West Seafood in Opa Locka which is owned by my brother. The shark weighed 531 pounds.
In the Big Hammer Challenge "if a shark dies after dilligent attempts to release it alive fail it is still a fair catch and will not be disqualified"In shark fishing sometimes sharks die .What part of that don't you understand?
The BIG HAMMER CHALLENGE will continue to grow and be a hit year after year because we do it from the heart and have been shark fishing for longer then most who claim to be shark fisherman with a few years expierience.
Whether you undertand it or not I am a proponent of catch and release shark fishing and do alot for the sport more then I can say for many others including petey as you call him.Oh and yeah he showed up at the 2009 big hammer awards with his pit bull by his side the whole time he looked like a scared rabbit hiding behind the dog.

I wasn't about The Big Hammer Challenge, it was about you, you lying trying to cover sh*t up even when you got called out about it, and talking sh*t about people. I have a very good understanding of the sport and that some fish die. These sharks are doing what their instincts tell them to do, which is fight to get away.
As far as the awards - No you did not make an attempt to say anything to Pete or the rest of the people who voiced their opinion about your lies...I was right there with my team, Team Salt Trash, which Pete was the team leader - dog or no dog, you wouldn't of said jack sh*t. You pretended everything was all good....

i love you to willy your my hero..
i dont do poop for the sport because i care more for the sharks then seeing them harmed..

Re: beach fishing
You know what Pete, with all the problems and challenges that our sport has been facing in Florida of late you could be more effective by doing good things and taking on a more positive role. Many that could serve as positive influence choose instead to do nothing at all,,,,,how very sad.I keep believing that somehow the better land-based shark fisherman will actually care and get involved so we don't lose our beach fishing rights, but maybe I'm just a dreamer or too naive to see the truth ,,,,,,,that most JUST DON'T GIVE A DAMN!!!
Hey Gettinhammered you should of had the courage to speak up at the 2009 BiG Hammer awards party if you felt in any way cheated.Shannon's 12 foot 2 inch hammer was the biggest caught and rightfully won the tournament but I would of been glad to see you voice your opinion right there in front of the awards party crowd because that would show you were standing up for what you believed without any fear of what anyone would say but instead you chose to say nothing,,,,,,real character you have.

Pete ,Mallissa ,the baby and the bull dog recieving one of many awards
Hey Pete where did all your shark fishing pictures go?You had some nice catches .

Everyone looks happy to me including "Gettinghammered" Sorry ,what's your name son?
Mark Davidson is one of the most decent shark fisherman I have ever met he is on the far right.

South Florida Shark Club members JD HAMMER and Shannon Bustamante reach out to all the teams in the spirit of good sportsmanship and show brotherly love for fellow anglers.A picture is worth a thousand words.

Actually Will, funny that you say that....I did make a comment to you on how it was jacked up that you lied about that hammer at the awards, and your response was something along the lines that some times hammers die in the fight....which we all know is true...and my response to you was that you still lied, it was your tourney, and you still lied...which was the jacked up part. No need to call out anyone else but you, and I didn't need to make a big scene, it wasn't necessary, I went straight to the man...you. You didn't have much to say. Stop trying to act like a hard ass behind a computer screen...
Yes I did have fun at the awards, I can get a long with everyone, and I met new people, BBQ, no reason to not have good time...My name is Steve and I used to be a member of the SFSC...
Again you talk about certain people to be a positive influence...Look in the mirror and start that change with yourself...Pete and Melissa taught me a lot about shark fishing. Not once has a shark washed up on the beach when I fished or we fished, including a hammer, and some huge lemon's that melissa caught, bulls, not one...Not once has a shark been mistreated or left out of the water too long for a picture...I'm not saying that because I'm friends with them...I'm saying that because it's the truth and they have the utmost respect for the sport...

Oh Willy.... Why did you start this???? Would you mind telling all of us about JD's Bull, and your Hammer and the nurse on the pier and all the lemons that were photographed out of the water (they were placed on the protected species list prior to your tournament). Or are you going to deny and attempt to cover this up too? Your 2010 Big Hammer Tournament had more shark deaths than all the tournaments combined over the past 2 years!!!!! Why is that? It's time to fess up Willy...

Be careful Team Fin Addicts you might get banned from the SFSC forum if you are a member. A friend of mine (Get-em-Wet) who was a member of the SFSC got banned from the forum because Will didn't like the fact that he informed himself and the rest of the SFSC about the new lemon laws and that double hooked rigs are now illegal to catch sharks with DURING the 2010 Big Hammer Tourney...
