New York Blacktip - 3/23/10

Post by Snook hunter »

A friend of mine flew in from NY yesterday and saw my pics of some past catches and said, "Looks like fun, I would like to try it.". That is all I need to hear. I rushed and got the gear together and had my feet in the water within 30 min. I even packed the kayak. I baited the hooks, put the stuff in the yak and realized I left my paddle at home. Made a few cast with the spinning gear and gave my NY friend the rod and he landed his 1st shark.

New Jersey Bill II brought my paddle and I put one bait out at 100 yards and the other at 200 yards.

New Jersey Bill II got a hit and lost it with in 5 seconds. Shark tore up the 150 mono shock leader he was using on his spinning gear, approximately 7ft from the hook. My 12/0 sat quietly at 200 yards.

Good job mister. :thumright: :D
The Judge asked the prostitute, "At what point did you realize you were raped?"
The prostitute replied (wiping away tears), "When the check bounced."
