I dont know...that second dorsal fin looks awfully small for a lemon. You should be able to see it if you turn your phone sideways. Heres another pic.

Definitely not a lemon.

Looks like an Atlantic sharpnose.

Okay, can see the second dorsal too small for a lemon. I concur that it's most likely a sharpnose. Looks like female from the ventral fins.

Dont think its a sharpnose either....the 2nd dorsal and anal fin are aligned. Theyre noticeably offset in sharpnoses....

Sorry guys. Not tryin to be difficult.

Why don't you post all your pics of it so we can see all features. Teeth can be a good indicator of different species. Or, if this is a riddle, just tell us what it is!!

Someone from another forum suggested blacknose shark. Zoomed in and she does have a faint smudge on her nose. Think thats what it is in case anyone here is wondering or could confirm.

Send pic to FWC.

For now we will call it a "opiato shark"

I only count 4 gills I assume there was 5??

Everything seems to say Blacknose they only get about 4 foot though so it would be close to being full grown

Not much are Duskys because they are rarer but none the less I know of them being caught so Maybe Young Dusky a bit rare

When you find out let us know

Had 5 gills. Just hard to see in the pics. I researched dusky and found that when young theyre very similar to blacknose but they actually have a layer of slime on their skin ...this one wasnt slimey so blacknose is my best guess.
