Thanks STRIZ. How have you been in Germany? Do you want to build some rod?
Always unbelievable when I see what nano carbon rod can do...!!! I have similar 7ft slow jigging rod that works like JI7604...

But as you know, JI7604 and Iron Pop 95 are designed for different purpose.
Iron Pop 95 is longer(9.5ft) (than Jaws JI7604) and designed to throw up to 180g popper.
I think Iron POP 95 will be a rocket launcher.
There are some difference in bending curve.
JI7604 bending show more "hanging" ( about 90~100 deg), which is what we need for VJ.
Iron POP 95 bending shows more "full fighting" (160~170 deg), which is what we need for popping...lol

This blank has been designed by Shark Guy and produced by NS black hole, which means I will distribute them in US.

This blank will find some applications...It is designed for long cast of up to 180g (6oz) weight and rod tip will create a good lure action.
For example, although it is designed for throwing poppers, pencils, live baits at off-shore (when fish doesn't like engine sound and they stay some distance from boat...), I am thinking someone can build a nice casting rod for snook or poon from beach...7ft rod is too short for that application... Traditional long rod is a little heavy to carry... When mullet runs start, I would love to cast mullet with this rod from beach.

I plan to have only Iron Jerker Series of NS black hole in stock.
If you want NS rods and give me two weeks or so, I may be able to get some other black hole rods or blanks for you except for cape cod.
BTW, my on-line shopping mall is about to be open...

Just checked the blackhole ns site and they have tons of stuff. I can't read Korean so who knows what the rods would translate into for our fishery, but hope you keep bringing different things around. I have no interest in this rod, but I can see guys who plug for tarpon from the beaches/inlets being into it. Good luck, and looking forward to you bringing other rods around. :toast:

Thanks Chris,
I think you went to NS Black Hole in Korea, http://www.nsrod.co.kr/goods/catalog?code=0001
You will also see NS black hole has Fishing TV channel for Shark guy http://www.nsrod.co.kr/board/?id=nstv&a ... 4%ED%81%AC
But these rods are for Asian fishermen in far east terrain. And rods are very different. You will see multi-piece rod and telescopic rods.
Over there, there is no fishing pier...most people fish off the cliff where big fish bites well and you need a long rod.
But you just can't carry a long rod...All the tackles including rods have to be packed into a portable bag because you will have to jump from boat to rock and walk around cliff...

This reminds me of 26 years ago when I came to the State... I brought my rod bag with 10 rods in....but got stolen as someone broke into car trunk.
He probably thought it was gun case...

I recommend to go to http://www.jignpop.com/ where you can see NS black hole rods and blank more suitable to states...
Jared has one, Herbert has three now, Phil has one, William has one...lol

I don't see why you can't use the 9fter as an all purpose rod if it is made for 6oz and is so lite. Popper eating fish are usually hard fighters with fast speed.

You shoulda been here yesterday!!!

Most people don't realize it"s all about the rod. They put $500 reels on $40 rods. It's the rod that pulls the fish in , and the reel just winds up the slack.

Ha Ha Ha
I admit I am a big fan of long rod...particularly long rod with a good backbone...
But I am becoming Floridian...my favorite size gets smaller and smaller every year and now only around 9 ft... now your pompano rod is longer than mine...lol
I am sure you will buy one if you are into casting plastics or woods... Unfortunately, it is not that big in South Florida...only hawking underneath of pier, bridge...some off-shore popping.

When Linesider finish my custom rod with this blank, I will use it for upcoming mullet run and will go for my 2015 permit hunt...
