Cool clip-on LED for night fishing...

Post by kblue »

While searching things, I found this clip-on LED that only turns on when fish bites. LED doesn't turn on by wind or wave. It has sensor that detects fish bite and ignores wind or wave. Maybe, perfect for lazy night bridge fishing....

PITA item IMHO.... what happen when you try to set the hook... also are you going to fight a nice fish with that thing hanging off and banging
your rod??,,,, anything you put on you rod, you will have to deal with while you are fighting a fish and that's a pain....

If you need to see your rod, paint the tip with glow in the dark paint or get one of those slim Glow stick holder and add a stick to it.. they are cheap
and if they fly off, oh well just add another one... yes they are small but they give off a pretty good glow... we use them on the rocks when we
were soaking live bait off the tip of the inlet and they work pretty good.... granted I use them more for LMB fishing at nite using shiners and floats...
but if it works... Why not...

I agree... It has to be slim, the location should be opposite side of guide, it shouldn't swing...
