Jack on a fly in the surf....that sounds fun!surfcaster wrote:Finally landed a jack using my fly rod from the beach - first one. I hooked one two weeks ago but didn't land it because I put too much pressure on the fish and pulled the fly out of its mouth. This time I just let it run until it got tired - great fight. About 24"-26" long and 5-10 lbs...what a thrill...

There is a fine line between Love & Hate.Hate is pushing them off a ledge. Loving them means you don't taunt them after you've pushed them off.

Look at where Jesus went to pick people. He didn't go to the colleges; he got guys off the fishing docks.

When you fly fish in the surf, do you use a weighted like or a floating line. I may attemp a try at this...
