This better be sarcasm because I was going to go this morning but had too much work to catch up on.... .....

In 30 years of fishing Anglins this was one of the most insane mackeral bites I have seen. They were 1-4 lbs and were skyrocketing from the surf to the tee. You should have gone Charles. One of those days that will be talked about for years to come by those that were there.
Dreaming the dream that one day I can be as good as some of the boatless pros and catch some 12 inch mangrove snapper.

Thanks Chris.. rub it in! hahahaha... seriously though.. I feel like this year, maybe not for the macks, but something else the bite will be hot like that!! the funny thing is last night with the boys I was watching this video, and thought that anglins should be having one of these type of bites soon!

8) April Fools!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today sucked. catfish.

Btw Chris,.. you told a fib. I never reached "my" limit.

Today was a day most people will never get to experience. I miss these kind of days. Was fun. And I used the same Croc the entire time, shredded leader and all.
Tomorrow there will be nothing but 4 inch jacks.

Fished today late in the afternoon with only 30 minutes of daylight left. Macs still biting but someone said not as good as this morning. Managed to catch 10 macs,i released 5 small ones on the 13-14 inch length. Kept the bigger ones. All caught on gotcha and jig. As soon as the sun goes down the bite just shuts off completely.

Well where to start

Pick up Roofer Dave before the sun is up and get to the pier as the sun is cresting the horizon, we get out and the fish start biting right away. Now I have seen many great days, what this one has that others didn't was a all day bite, I don't recall ever seeing the bite maintain so consistent through the day, If I was to put a number on fish I caught it would be 200 and I think that is a low estimate. All I know is I was releasing 3 1/2 to 4 lb MaCKS. It was absolutely a Great Day of fishing, I would give it a low 8 on my scale which is really high and that number is mainly based upon the consistency of the day. I fished with Roofer Dave and Mike and Ryan and numerous others showed through out the Day. I left at 7pm tonight I could not drag myself away any sooner/

I only took 2 Pompano, 3 Big Croakers, 6 Bluefish and about 10 Macks. I did not need anymore and spent most of the day Releasing.

As I said in a post yesterday
Just GO Fishing and this holds for the next 5 Days, yes it will lull and yes I think there will be some more great periods the next 5 Days, the slowest Day being Friday.
But you never know, Just go fishing somewhere if you feel like fishing.

Here you go watch for yourself, I will upload a HD render later it takes longer and I will also upload another vid done by our Video guy tomorrow or the Day after.

What is really funny is that I am almost certain that if you would have casted a 3 oz weight with a hook trailing you would have caught fish! It looked like a frenzy you only get to see when out on a boat and finding birds working the bait! Did anyone try putting out a live mackerel? If not, DO it! I can guarantee you that kings, big kings hang out underneath all that melee and will not hesitate to destroy a legal sized spanish mackerel! Let us hope that this is a prelude of things to come this winter... Simply steady mackerel would be good enough in my book, along with pomps!
