Wish I read about Jensen.
Nothing going on at the inlet. Got two just legal mangroves not worth keeping and a few shorts. Saw a short gag come up and released. Bait was scattered greens, 'dines, and pins by the lagoon.

Fished Jupiter inlet for the first time today. I gotta say it looks super fishey!! I didn't bring my live bait gear but that would have done the trick I think. There was no live bait to speak of there at all. I know sand perch would have been there though. Saw locals fishing for Moonies, and the usual shimp brigade. I didn't catch anything at all but I will go back there better prepared. Two manatees humping inside on the south jetty.

went out from 11pm-2AM just south of the inlet. caught 3 bluefish and one crab using live and some un-alive mullet. Apparently mullet do not last more than an hour or two in a bait bucket with a bubbler.

Depending on the size of the bucket/mullet you shouldn't have more than a dozen fingers.

I fish north side last saturday lots of ten pound jack were hiting mullet.
I caught a bunch on a spoon an then a large spinner or tippy moved in.
After that night fell I wish I would have fished a jack live on my 4/0.

Fished 7:30pm to 8:30pm.
Saw a bunch of little baits fliping and a few tarpon rolling.
Ended up catching a snook around 8-9lbs on a white X-rap.
Then 5 casts later hooked one about 16-18lbs that ranstraight down parallel to the jetty and found it's way to a barnacle that broke me off.

$15 lure down the drain.
A few more hits and no hook ups ended the night.

Fished last night on North side.
Just throwing a white x-rap size 14.
Got a special surprise when this 8lb cubera came up and smashed the plug.

Also around 20min later caught a snook around 25lbs on the plug.

Fished last night from 8-12. Snook wanted nothing to do with artificials. Live bait was the key. Only thing I ended up with was a big ass Nurse shark. Cut her off to harass fisherman for another day.

I didn't see any, but I also wasn't trying for any. The livies that were used were brought up from Dania/Juno with Scott and his brother. Apparently nice sized Dines were sabikiing a bit at Juno.

Fished last night from 8-1:30. All the 10-12" Grovers you could want once the tide started moving out. Threw them all back for another day. Not a Snook in sight and no bait seen.
On a lighter note the moon was badass when it came over the horizon. Almost blood red and huge. Unfortunately I didn't have a camera.

Fished Saturday nite from 8-12 on the outgoing. Caught a nice slot snook on a croaker. Logan caught a decent Jack. Lost plenty of fish to pulled hooks and the rocks. This is becoming my new favorite place to fish.
