Finally got some action out there....first cast out, hooked a jack as soon as I put my rod in the holder. Paddled him out, and hooked a blacktip as soon as I got back to shore. Took a break at Capt Hiram's, then came back and immediately nailed 2 keeper blackdrum from on shrimp the catwalk...

Saw a lot of small margates being caught from the catwalk too and a ladyfish. Lota catfish keepin people busy. That's about it...

How's the water clarity going with the winds howling like they are now? I was planning on spending Thurs-Mon at Sebastian but this has me really worried. Anyone caught any pomps lately?

Afternoon bite is slow! I see mostly catfish.. after catfish...
There were a few blackdrums that I seen being caught. (2 - 3) at the end...
1 Blue and 1 Snook... That's all I saw the whole afternoon until night...

Once the sunset... Snook was on fire.. slot Snook on top of that. I heard 3 slot was landed on the north pier... right after I left.. to go to the catwalk.. forgot my headlamp in the car >.<
Saw 3 more landed at the catwalk and 2 were slot. I went home empty handed...

Oh, I caught like 2 flounder when I was on the north pier... like 6 - 9 " .... also saw another one caught... flounder so small!!!!!

Was there around 3pm - little pass sunset...

At the end there are some big sheepies and black drum being landed. A few macks and blue being landed at the middle of the north jetty. Just before sunset and night... a snook here and there.

Still waiting until the end of the jetty won't be as pack.. guess that's never going to happen lol. Guess I'll wait until the black drum/sheepies move in more.

thousands of small jacks on the south including the beach way down. saw a legal red caught as well as a good side runner. as for the north i didn't see anything cuz it was dark but i did had one shark run up there which spit the bait and then an Ahole bit#h came through with his commercial boat and ran me and another dudes line down. but anyway i caught a shark still when i switched sides.

I'm planning a couple of days fishing , there , in Feb . I'd like to catch a shark , or two , and was wondering what the landing procedure was , when fishing on the jetty . Judging by the pictures it looks like they are walked to the beach . What exactly is the catwalk that you are writing about ? Also , can I expect any action in the surf at that time of year . I'd rather shark fish there , if it's worthwhile . Please give me tons of info , as this will likely be my only shot at fishing there , as I live in north Georgia . I generally fish the panhandle , or the Ga. coast . Many Many thanks guys .
