I am sorry to say that an Old friend has passed and he was so Young, I will miss fishing the runs and Muttons with you, you will always be in my memory and I am greatly saddened by this tragic reality. I am so Glad we had the fall run of 2011 of the great mack run and experienced it fishing together.

We only spoke 2 weeks ago and you never showed to fish and I should have known something was wrong but I figured you had gone North to find the fish as usual.

RIP my Fishing Friend

I have no info on his death as of yet and I will post when I have more info.

Wow. That is horrible, I had no idea. RIP Tommy. I have a rod he built, I will make sure to catch a pompano on it for him this winter. Way too young.

Zebco was pretty young, I wonder what happened?

Young or old, you never know when it will be your last day here. Get to work on those dreams folks, and get right with your God.

Very unfortunate to read about this. Unfortunately it will happen to all of us, I just hope that is after we all turn 80. I just hope that fishing is allowed where he is at now and May He Fish In Peace. My prayers are with him, he WILL BE MISSED.

Hard to believe this. I spent many a day talking fishing or the bar scene with him over the last 25 years. Really going to miss him. Rough and abrasive online at times but ask him a question on fishing and he would point you in the right direction. I will miss him.
Dreaming the dream that one day I can be as good as some of the boatless pros and catch some 12 inch mangrove snapper.

This is from his Facebook page...it isn't marked as private or anything so I don't think it is an issue to post it here. Backwoods, if you ever fished at Dania more then a year ago, you would have seen him for sure. He worked the front gate.
