Hey guys been a while since I’ve posted but def wanted to give you guys and update on my fishing these past months.
Back in aug a buddy of mine tagged me in a post by the fishing charter company Angler Management. They were looking for a fresh new captain for the 42 searay they chatter with. I reached out to the owner and met for lunch that upcoming weekend. After having lunch and checking out the boat he offered me the position and I gladly accepted it! Some of the benefits from being part of the company are full clothing sponsorships outfitted in custom reels and rods. And the best part full use of the beautiful 42 ft searay express!
For the month of sept I was learning how to maneuver the boat. It’s docked at sailfish marina and the current gets very strong. So after a solid month of training I was ready to go.
First week of oct we were hired to compete in the blue water babes tournament. Basically it’s a tourney that all proceeds go towards breast and ovarian cancer. We ended up with the first place dolphin comming in at 32 pounds. First charter on the boat and we killed it!
So after totally changing my career I Fish almost everyday now and have tons of time to spend with my son mason.
