Re: Boca beach
I was at the inlet at 1 P . I had a houndfish impale himself accidently un my Yo-Zuri when a HUGE barracuda shot in grom nowhere and cut him in half.....Kinda glad he missed the lure, he was just too big for wither the lure or my flimsy 30# leader....Beachfisher wrote:Going now. IT IS blowin, but winds are from the SW, so you should be able to keep a line dowwn. Bait was scarce at the top of the tide today, but there are almost always schools of Larger mullet on the Jetty lately - Good Luck !

Often, and enjoy it too.Beachfisher wrote:I never tried snook suchimi. Anyone else?
For those of you too timid to eat raw fish, It's also not bad when you cook it.
Seviche, or Ceviche, is also a great way to prepare it. The acid in the preparation cooks the fish, but the texture is still differrent.
