Commerical fishermen are the ones who do more damage.

There are reports of hundreds of dead fish all over the Keys and the West Coast due to the extremely cold temps we experienced last week at this time. Small fish can't stand the cold and they don't retreat to deep water like the large fish, so they just die. This is likely to affect the fish population for a little while.

The brown shark you mention sounds like a Nurse Shark.

Glad you had a good time. What was the size range of the mangroves ? Just wondering if they are beginning to come back after that cold spell.

Good for you!! In the past I have caught some nice muttons there too, and with squid when the tide is towards the gulf side. This is on mm 62. I haven't gone to the other Tom Harbor bridge on mm 60. Has anyone ever gotten anything in on that bridge??
