Rob really said it all. Perfect conditions, dismal fishing. The company more than made up for it though. :D
Nice Boat! Now get it outa my driveway!

Cookinman had it right... The front sitting on us didn't help the fishing, or so it would seem! I for one plan on fooling some fish tomorrow, or should I leave it for tuesday morning? Now I can't make my mind up! It is a 76 mile run each way... Tommy, tell me the fishing will be awesome just cuz u say so and call them fish gods like only u can!!!

OK I will try anything, if it was not for the company I would have used myself as shark bait.

Juan I can't tell you a thing except I will be there fishing from 5am to 8am for sure because it is October and it will bust loose one of these morning. But honestly the last two were very slow to what I thought would happen.

I haven't seen a gog in a while at Anglins nor heard of any being caught. Some mackeral, runners, ballyhoo, ladyfish, jacks, and bluefish have been around. All of which will produce down south. I may go out Wed. morning after work to try and get WHODEY some baits if you want to meet me out there.
Dreaming the dream that one day I can be as good as some of the boatless pros and catch some 12 inch mangrove snapper.

8) Today was one of the best days of fishing they have ever witnessed at Anglins pier. Once word gets out there will be no room to fish tomorrow out there.

I went back to bed too. Didn't want to waste my time again.

That sounds kewl, I'll try the Rick tomorrow morning and I'll go to Anglins Tuesday night and then again Wednesday morning. Nelson you can cover the Rick on Wednesday morning that way we cover some territory. Or just hall to Dania or Anglins. I will definitely settle for any of those mackeral, runners, ballyhoo, ladyfish, jacks, or bluefish. Something to get us going over there.

Passed by there tonight the wind was hauling from the south at at least 25 knots, turned my buttox right back towards home. I guess I won't waste my time tomorrow morning. Long drive to turn back empty. When the bad weather stops GO! It's going to be on.

Fished this tuesday morning, got there at 4am, while getting ready to fish the house, a group of guys were pulling up lots of blues and a couple other fish on frozen squid.. I guess those bluefish will eat anything. anyways.. saw lots of bait in the water early and just was catching jacks on a sabiki looking for bait. started catching mojarras and put one out and that is what I caught my 19" Mutton on! Tuesday was a great day for me, because of all the firsts! I caught my first bluefish, even though right until the end I had 2 on the same lure!!! then I caught a very large ladyfish, not as many as the ladyfish king (jerry!) my first spanish mackerel and my first chub.. whatever the heck that was, caught lots of grunts early and had a ton of bites.. also caught a HUGE black margate (it was the biggest I have ever seen at least! lol) I had a great time seeing all the boatless fishing forum guys and gals!!! I am sure the fishing is only going to get better!! Just wanted to let everyone here know how much I appreciate all the help with my fresh to salt transition! you guys are the best!

Thanks,

Charles
