XD..
Well seems she won't be able to make it. If anyone in the Miami area wants to split gas costs and go I'd be more than happy to part in. Planning on being there from 5-6 till at least noon, longer if the bite is steady.

What Rob said...not enough O's in sloooooow to describe today.

Got out there just before sun-up, around 5:30A. I was ready to haul the cart out there loaded for bear but after talking with Tommy, decided to travel light, very light, one rod and some arti's... glad I did.

Casting for Mac's the whole time. Saw a couple nice ones (Mac's) come over the rail along with 2 ribbon fish. I had one short strike on my #10 X-Rap Glass Ghost and another strike that cut me off.

Great to finally met Rob & his wife, Rikki too albeit pretty brief. Saw a Sheepie come over of all things, looked small.

Not much action but still beats a day at work ;)

Fished for around 2 hours in the AM. People catching some blues on the bottom and very few macks. I choose the wrong day but atleast I met some forum members out there.

Its always nice to put faces to forum names :D. Next time I'll post up what I'll be wearing, and if I haven't met you, feel free to come by and say hi!

Its a little awkward to walk to a random person asking them if their on the boatless forum, :).

I left around 6, just around the time that the Asian invasion came in... All using glow sticks and bobbers to max out on ribbonfish.

Tally for the day was....(as far as I remember)
About 10 hefty Macs caught, all on lures.
About 10 small ones caught as well.
I alone caught over 15 blues, and there head to be over 50 today on the pier.
1 pompano caught and it was a keeper.
1 cobia caught by me... 20"
Many ribbonfish(I caught the first in the morning, lol.)
And a small shark I also caught in the am.
Too many jacks and runners

We managed to keep the kids rods beny W Runners, pinners and other assorted shrimp eaters. The kids had alot of fun and are looking forward to going again, which was my sole mission for the AM.

Went out today from 5:30- 10a. Still some seaweed but it cleared out some. Was slow with only a few bites here and there. I caught my biggest mack AND blue today. Also caught a ribbonfish jigging but I gave it away to some other happy campers. Pretty stoked about it since ive only fished saltwater for about a month now. This forum and everyone at Anglins have been great help. Thanks again!

Were you the guy fishing with the greenback X-rap, had a small packpack on most of the time?
