Dreaming the dream that one day I can be as good as some of the boatless pros and catch some 12 inch mangrove snapper.

Fished 6AM till 09:30....wind was Northeast but went East Northeast pretty quickly...
Water was on the clear but green side at daylight

Saw 7 pomp's, got two of the seven on Goofy jigs...also one small mack...saw only one other during that time...hopefully the bite picked up as the tide came in but don't know...
Did see some Gog's caught...

As far as in the AM think I will sleep in.... wind is going to be stout from the East... so I will stay away so the bite will happen  Everyone is welcome in advance

I dont understand why someone would get mad at keeping a snook barely over 32" probably not even a 1/2 inch and that pompano in a previous post picture isnt no where near 11" to the fork

FWC doesn't care if it is 1/10" of an inch over 32", it is the same to them as if you kept one that was 45".

8) That Pompano wasn't clearly short, to me, and I see more of them than you.
You should do the right thing and turn yourself in to the proper authorities. You have admitted to your guilt and must pay the piper. The fines and jail time will not be to bad if you turn yourself in and not have them come search you down. You should leave your current address in your post to make it easier for the FWC Search and Incarceration Unit can come and deal with you in private.

Just to be clear, that pomp was 12" to the fork. I'd have no reason to say differently. :thumright:

On another note, windy again with some blues and macks coming up but not very often. Had to work hard to get em! till next week!

Went out the night of the fourth... Wind wind and more wind, waves were breaking over the end of the pier, pier felt like it was moving, scary! Caught lots of little grovers.

Tonight, much nicer, caught big grocers all 14+ inches, and had a billion drag ripping hits, seems the fish are on to me, if I hook through the dorsal, they bite the head and rest of the body clean off, if I hooked through the mouth..... Well you get the point, either way I caught my first ribbonfish tonight, my bait fights harder....
