Frank Mundus if you are a a Longtime Shark Fisherman you would know him ..

Frank was well known for his Shark Fishing Haunts in the North East he took Angler Donnie Bradick ( I Believe) to catch the Largest Fish on Rod and Reel a World record ... Great White Shark In the New York Area . Frank is a wizard on Sharks and knows what makes them tick Fishing for sharks in the Northesat is Nothing like here in Florida its hard to find Sharks up there I know I did it for alot of years I won some Big $$ Tournaments and yep I lost some too.I personally gave alot of that up and in the mid 80's there were Tag n Release Tournaments I still enjoy them Trophys to today . Frank Mundus is well respected to many Shark Fisherman as a Legend and the Godfather of Shark Fishing .Jaws back in 1975 Quints Caractor was Mundus if that helps to understand with alot of hype on Boiling Shark Jaws ( they just fall out) Sharks biting boats in Half ect was Hollywood but Truely Quints Caractor was Frank Mundus..

I am off to go Fishing , Tight Lines Capt Bruce

nice hammer

Post by Team Shark Fever »

Congratulations to everyone on a great show so far; congratulations in particular to Team Olkskool and Zach on a huge hammer,,,, i'd rather
catch one beast that size instead of 20 small ones which is all we've been
catching from the beaches lately. My guess on the weight of that hammer
is 485lbs give or take 25 lbs.For all you guys that are fishing 9/0s or smaller when and if you get spooled the culprit will be a hammer like this or bigger, alot of hard work to catch one from land.Thinking of doing an Endless Summer style shark fishing tour (1 week) of Florida before the tournament ends. Will probably start on the west coast around Marco Island and work our way up to Ft Myers,Sarasota,Tampa,New Port Richie, the panhandle then back to the east coast and Jacksonville and south ,,always dreamed of doing it and now is the perfect moment.Anyone that wants to join us can pm me.Keep up the good work guysand be safe. -----DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR-----

Got of Work at 5am and soaked a bait for an hour or so and got this lil fella, slurped a Cuda Sashimi, I prepared for the little devils.

Wish every hour could be as productive

The red section on the banner/pipe is 12 inches long.

Oh so we're not the only ones? We've been in a huge slump ever since the tourny started, so we made a trip to your coast last weekend and didn't even get a run both days! Thought we were doing something wrong but it looks like the slump is happening to the best of them. It's a new month so we're hoping for the best! Good luck out there everyone, let's see some big ones!
