Rapala's x-rap crankbaits seem to work really well for some people. I like to fish soft plastics, my favorite is a watermelon zoom super fluke on a red worm hook.

Xraps do work well, but lately I've been using a gold spoon(siwash hook instead of treble) with very good success.

Rattletraps, husky jerks, xraps, crankbaits, in-line spinners, spoons, bucktails, soft plastics worked quick,
It don't matter... really..... They are so aggressive that I have seen them hit plain gold hooks... LITERALLY... They are not like largemouth, and really are not that picky. If you want to get technical about it, and want to match the hatch, try throwing mayan / cichlid colors.... But really all u need is a black and silver husky jerk...
My posts are just my opinion... Gathered from my research and my experiences in this passion we all share.. Dont hate if my opinion differs from yours... We all have opinions just like butt holes

My 2 faves are a silver tiny torpedo when they are chasing at the top and a black / gold rappala countdown.
